Instances Purchasing Options

Instance types also can be classified by their purchasing options. They are as followed:

• On-Demand: For short workload, predictable pricing and pay by second.

• Reserved (1-3 years): Convenient for long workloads

• Saving Plans (1-3 years): Commitment to an amount of usage, long workload

• Spot Instances: They are cheap and losable instances. But useful for short workloads. It is less reliable so that not prefer to execute important workloads on it.

• Dedicated Host: Book an entire physical server

• Dedicated Instances: Your hardware can not share with other users.

• Capacity Reservations: Reserve capacity in a specific AZ for any duration
